Depending in your state it should be on the title, but it most cases, from 3200 - 3900 lbs. it all depend on the options it first came with. If you ever go to a drag tack. you will be able to weigh your car, in most cases they go by 20 lbs increments.

Well what I plan on doing when mine is done (which is almost done!!!) is take it to the city dump, which happens to be close by. When you bring your garbage, you drive onto a ramp which is a scale, and your car gets weighed. It's just a trick to get your car weighed for like $4 (ie. just say you have a "couple" bags of garbage, @ $2 per bag) and voila, get the read out when you stop on the scale.

the 78 monte sport coupe v-6 weighs 3040 lbs the v-8 car weighs 3175lbs. the 79 v6 is 3039 lbs and v8 is 3169 lbs. the 80 model v-6 is 3104 lbs and v-8 is 3219 lbs. hope that helps

pretty much everyone forgets that the 78-80 monte weigh alot less than the 81-88 montes, they were the lightest of any monte carlo.
Even my 78 with an aluminum headed big block only weighs 3350 pounds.
