hi all im planing on flusing the trans this weekend in my driveway and i need to no how much transmission fluid go's into the pan, and also whats the best way to do it and fluid wise, whats the best and easyst way to do it, i already have the new filter and gasket do i need gasket sealent? and any tips are appreciated thanks-chris

For a simple fluid / filter change the spec is 7 pints. I use gasket adhesive on the pan side of the gasket / dry on the case side. Torque spec is 7-10 ft.lbs. Remember to torque the pan bolts in a few steps, alternating sides as you go.
