Depends, even though the housing is shot, if it has a good posi unit, that alone is worth a couple hundred bucks to the right person, that being said, $500 would be a safe price to pay if so equipped, can't lose money there.

I HIGHLY doubt that the rear-end housing is too rusty to use...
I've sandblasted, painted, rebuilt and used rears that looked worse than that.
Since there's no other pictures to go by, it's impossible to judge the rest of the cars' value on blind speculation...
Even if it's totally beat, if you can get it for less than $1000 you shouldn't have any trouble making your money back.
It all depends on if you're willing to invest the time.

Parting out a car you have to know what you can get for what parts ahead of time and I would say pay at the most half or a third of what the parts are possibly worth.
You have to figure in towing expence if required and any materials used to remove parts and prep them for selling etc.
Your time and effort to strip the car has to be worthwhile and you have to be able to sit on the parts without needing your money back right away otherwise you end selling everything cheap.
Another thing after you strip the car do you have someone that will scrap what's left for free or do you have to pay someone to take it.
