How to calculate my HP

Agree, don't be intimidated of the gym bros and their AWD Subaru's. They drive those because they wouldn't know what do otherwise. They need a car with a fixed monthly payment and massive aftermarket support that they can also drive in the winter because they can't handle more than 1 car. Be proud of your G-body. Call the shop first and explain what your looking to do first and you'll get a feel for who you'll be working with.

No 1/4 yet. To be honest it wasn't built to run 1/4s but that doesn't mean I can't.

Nonsense! every car is built to run in the quarter, from a ecobox turd to a full out drag car.... Personally I love the track. You do not have to go run the track for all out speed and power. Run for consistency or just the pure fun of it. It is a legal safe place to go out and have fun with your car and gives you a benchmark to compare all changes/upgrades to your ride. It also has the added benefit of being around men and women of similar love of cars and is a large knowledge base to tap into.

I'm lucky in that I have a track only of about 15miles away.

Lol not intimidated by those guys...I love when they hear amercan thunder of that v8 with headers..the looks are priceless. I have some thing to work out before a quarter run. There's a shimmy at about 65, so I gota fix that. Original u joint will be replaced then see where I'm at
