How to fix loose window crank?

Hello all.

I just recently replaced my broken driver side window crank. Now it seems very loose compared to the passenger side. I noticed that the rigged knob that the crank goes on is loose, when I put the new crank on. The window itself rolls up rough also. Any ideas on a fix?
