How to replace quarter windows on 78 el camino?

We are trying to figure out how to put the quarter windows back into my 78, They have been out for a long time. Can anyone tell me what holds them in? Do they glue in from the inside, or from the outside? And do brackets hold them in? We have parts everywhere, but not sure where to start. Thanx in advance. Randy D.
