i am planning to do the 442 over the winter and i saw a picture of one with the hurst olds air dam on the frone, i have to have one lol. i gound a repo one for 400 for the kit, is there any others out there cheaper or does someone have a used one to spare for a reasonable price? thanks

Lauren Engineering is your only hope, the fiberglass ones are much cheaper than the urethane ones.
A used factory air dam will run big bucks in decent condition, and one you're thinking that you are getting a good deal on one it will most likely be filled with splits and cracks.
Better off with the fiberglass repro if you are limited on cash.

does the fiberglass one require the mounting brackets? does anne have info on making the mounting brackets? I read abot a guy saying they rust easily and was making a set out of some stainless. i may just go after that 400 dollar kit to avoid headaches. thanks

sure did. from the fiberglass parts i have used in the past they are usually not complete kits and never fit right so i am thinking the fiberglass is out
