Hi,
I cobbled together 4 W-30/Hurst "N78" wheels (14 inch), and had them refinished. I read somewhere that the lugnuts for them are different. I can verify it's true, as they tighten all the way down and are seemingly too small for the holes, as if they need flanges or something.

Can anyone verify? In 79 I guess they only came on W30/Hurst Olds, and then were optional until 81 or so.

Thanks!

Tom

I believe they take the same lug nut as the 76-82 Corvette aluminum wheel. Should look like these.

I'm planning to use McGard short shank lug nuts & washers with Corvette wheels on my 88 Super Sport.
Hope this helps!

yes, corvette lug nuts from that era are the same.

Thanks, all. Another thread here had the dorman part # for just the plain old lug nuts, without the chrome covers. Good enough for me to get the wheels on! Found 20 at a local parts store. Part # 611-086.
