If you drop the glove box out and look up while moving the heater temp control back and forth, you will see it. Glove box must be removed.

Yep, plastic arm broken. I don't know why GM didn't use pot metal for this arm. Couldn't have costed to much more.

Mine snapped off the arm that the linkage from control clips onto.
