i am currently using the stock hydroboost system out of an 85 buick grand national, i did a complete conversion to the monte carlo since the big block does not make a lot of vacuum and i like having brakes that work expecially with the 13" C5 vette brakes up front and 12" LS1 brakes out back.

here is what i used

85 GN parts
hydroboost assmebly $120 new
hydroboost brake pedal different than vacuum one $free local guy
Hydroboost power sttering pump $85
Hydroboost master cylinder diff. than vacuum $20

Summit racing
Russel braided stainless power steering lines & fittings $120
Synthetic power steering fluid $5

I am using a custom serpentine belt setup off a S10 pickup
so i am using the S10 serptentin pulley on the pump also

did you have to change your prop. valve?
what do you have for rear brakes?

if you change to hydroboost you dont have to change your porp. valve.
