I Am Almost Overweight!

The BMI calculator leaves a lot to be desired. At 6'-4" and at 227 lbs I don't look fat but currently I'm on a diet. I've been lifting weights regularly for 25 years so have more muscle mass than the average guy. My ideal weight is 180 lbs which for me is anemic. I couldn't imaging losing 40 lbs. at this point in my life.

What are you saying, something he said isn't true? They are all jealous of his good looks and natural orange skin🙂. All lies I tell you!

Yeah BMI is generally accurate for average-height people but if you are on either extreme, it makes no sense. I remember in high school I got really sick and went from my usual 6'2" 250 lbs down to around 200 lbs. I looked like I had an eating disorder. As soon as I got better I put it all back on but just goes to show BMI makes no sense.

I wonder how much money was spent on this study?? I would hope a person would know when he or she is carrying too much weight.

Nothing at all. I just thought it was funny that people subjectively apply the BMI measure to things without considering all the factors related to individual physiology and health.

Accordingly to this drawing by my oldest I am doing okay... but, should probably stop skipping leg day.

I try to be modest - even if I cannot seem to find a shirt to wear between May and October. Sun's out. Guns out.

Dang. I forgot - you have mentioned your daughter many times. Clearly I can't read.

Enjoy that high-lattitude sunlight when you get it!
