Need some help , I am going to the ls fest in September in Bowling Green i am going to purchase the lsx 454 from Scoggin Dickey while i am there to transplant into the SS. I have a 68 c 10 with the ls 376/ 525 with a legend gear 5 speed . This time i am going to put a gm automatic behind maybe a 4l70 e or whatever they recommend. My question is with this setup will i have to cut the trans tunnel? I am the second owner of this car and it has only 42,000 original miles so i dont want to butcher it , but i love horsepower. Any help or thoughts are welcome. I have since put a set of 17' rocket booster rims on her but dont have the pics.
