I love when someone post something for sale, you purchase it, PAY THEM, and then they notify you they sold it to someone else because their small brain had it listed on 5 different sites... Anyone that does this kind of practice (CRAP) is an idiot, i don't care, that's JUST the way it is!

I just had a guy on another forum selling an oil pump. I told him I would take it and send him the money after I got out of work. Two hours later I was about to send it he just says it’s sold. Very annoying.

If you got your money back, then feel lucky. It's when you DON'T get your money back in situations like this, that's a problem.

Annoying yes, but you'll get buttmunches like this from time to time. Just have to make a list and remember who NOT to deal with any more. I've got a list of Olds people that I won't give a plug nickel to for anything they got. Nor sell anything I got to them. It's a short list, but unfortunately, it's a list. Olds people shouldn't be like that. No car folk should be like that.

around where i live having a job is detrimental to getting any deals. I hear all the time "if you cant come right now its gone to the next person". By the time i get off work most things are gone.

The way to stop or at least slow them down is to post their names. I have several on this forum and they knew what they were doing! It's a sad comment on an enthusiast forum that these guys are trying to scam people by misrepresenting what they have and sell.
