I know what rims I want and I'm getting. The wheels are custom built by American Racing. They will be a 17 by 11 on the rear and 17 by 7 or 8 on the front. The backspacing will be stock specs because as stated they are built to order to your specs. My question is can I run the widest tire for a 17(unsure what size it is) without worrying about hitting the frame since these are stock backspacing or am I way off and they will rub anyway because they are 17 by 11?

The 500 are the ones I am getting. I want some bigger wheels but want to keep the old school look. Tires are a bia to find for 14 and 15 inch wheels around here without buying new.

are you sure a 11" wide wheel will fit in the back? Biggest I've heard of is 10...

Thats what Im trying to make sure. Most wheels arent custom built so they really cant go too wide but these are 17 by 11 with stock backspacing. I've seen 22's and 24's wider than a 17 by 11 on gbodies fit without any cutting or notching of the frame. I just want to make sure they will fit since they are custom backspacing and what tires so I dont incur any problems.

I kinda have my heart set on those wheels in that size because i think they will look real nasty and aggressive. At the same time they are basically stock rally wheels. If needed I will use billet spacers. Where are all the wheel and tires guys at?
