I messed up.....park isnt park

I removed my carpet from my 86 cutlass but i had to loosen the shifter off the carpet. Then I had to take it out of park to pull the console out. So I put it back in park And the car still would roll like it was in nuetral.....any advice or pictures of how to fix this would be awesome.i had Planned on driving the car to the shop to fix the floor pans until this happened

check to see it didnt loosen up at trans lever or stud didnt pop out. I had a problem with that before. ATP makes a better quality shifter cable where that won’t happen

if you have an issue with the cable if you grab the steering column close to the dash you can turn it counter clockwise till it stops to put in park
