 Well I guess all I can really do as far as help would be to say it looks like you have a lot of excess try to make more direct connections and get a book that will give you some idea of routing and best of luck.

What exactly did you mess up. The air cleaner is an easy install if its that one. If not tell us what your looking for and we will try to help ya out.
😛

what were you trying to do? what happened?

just looks messy, as long as it works your good i guess

lol yha the heater control value my other thing is the break booster is in the manifold not in the back of the carb so. i think thats wat im looking for it dose not start right up like it use to before i changed manifold to a 2104 edelbrock an 1406 carb any ways thank all of you for your info very much

Whether the brake booster is hooked to the manifold or the carb it doesn't really matter as long as it's getting full manifold vacuum and not ported vacuum.

Have you done any tuning to the carb? What about the choke, is it hooked up? You can't just throw a carb and intake on and expect it to run perfect. You'll likely need to do some tuning.

As far as it not firing up did you mark where you distributor was pointing and put you plugs back on your distributor in the right order 18436572 clockwise (if its a chevy). And like someone else mentioned it looks like you have alot of excess hoses and unnecessary contol valves. Going into the carb should be the vacuum mod. from the distributor and your trans and the brake booster. Your pcv valve should be plugged into the manifold. Hell i can't tell where anything else is going or coming from. You need a Haynes manual asap.

we also don't know if you went from the computer controlled carb, and if you still have the computer controlled distributor in it (this can create massive headaches, believe me)... clear pics and detailed explainations go along way if you need real help. there's a wealth of info, but you need to be calm, and let us know what you have and what you've done.
