My .02 - another reason not to tint the side windows is that the film starts to scratch after a while unless you put in new window felts. For the fixed windows, you should have no issues unless you have a heated backlight.

I'm a night shift nurse. My Escalade is limo tinted as well and never have any issues. Only time I had a problem at night was way back when I was 17 and took an Oldsmobile to swap shop for limo tint. It turned purple over time, so I had them put limo tint over the limo tint. Now THAT was unsafe and soon discarded!
