to me olds is still alive thanks to olds guys that love there olds and keep them on the road.
My olds is still alive, and because of a lot of others on here, many Oldsmobiles are still on the road...but the mark is gone...and when I see the junk coming out of detroit these days ..... it really makes me wonder what some smart, well funded, outside the box thinking engineers could be making these days if Oldsmobile was still making cars....just sayin..

Me, too, Bill. With an actual Olds engine, that had been tweaked for the last 30 years.

The front end looks pretty cool but like GP said it looks "happy". I HATE the rear though, looks like hatch.

ok the yellow is much better.. the back looks more olds like..

It looked not to bad until I saw the rear view :puke:

Personally I think GM died right after the last GBody rolled off the line. They have the worst designs out of the 'big 3'. Ford holds a close 2nd to that. Now those Mopar guys are the only ones who seem do be doing thongs right (as far as appearance goes).

I actually seen the " Trans Am verison" Camaro going down the highway and i must admit it caught my attention!! 8) Too bad it was going the opposite direction and my reaction times were a BIT too slow...

I've seen the Trans Am concept around here and I think those look pretty cool but they are based on the same platform. I like the idea of this concept but to me it still looks more like a modified camaro than something Olds would have come with in this day and age as a retro 442.

The Cuda is the best looking.

I like the Olds better than the Camaro. But then, I'm not too fond of the Camaro.

If Oldsmobile was still around, we'd have a rebadged 4-door Regal-Cutlass and a rebadged 4-door Lacrosse-Intrigue. I hate that Oldsmobile is gone, but I don't think GM can handle what Oldsmobile was supposed to represent anymore. Buick either, for that matter, which is why Buick's identity is currently pinned on a Camry look-alike. GM died when they stopped producing what America liked and started holding focus groups to be all things to all people. Now we have Corvettes with pushbutton electric doors, Cadillac flagships with V6s and Buicks that are trying to be every nationality but American. As the things on the showroom floor get worse and worse, our old cars just keep getting better and better.
