Yeah, $700 is a lot to come up with. After seeing the some of the fitment and quality issues on name brand long tubes, it pretty much eliminates them. I have to decide between the orginal shorties and 2.25" down pipes or their new headers and the manderal bent 2.5" Ram Air Restorations down pipes. Big problem is controlling interior noise on my 70S, bigger pipes make it louder. My 88 is much more padded and louder exhaust is not an issue.
