the best part is the new studies say the new figures were taken from large cities instead of the normal out of city spots. cities are always warmer. and a new study from Harvard and others show a cooling trend. We all know it's small interest groups that cause this headache. does that mean i'm gonna run rich and cut out my cat. no. b/c i love the environment. well yes but mostly b/c the fumes make my eyes water. :wink:

i hate that b.s. the climates been changing ever since the earth was formed its just a ploy to help the goverment make more money whats gonna happen in 20 year when everyones driving eviormental freindly cars and the climates still changing they gonna tax u for breathing because CO2 just as bad to the ozone as our cars are


people just lack in common sense to be like wait a minute how this stuff happen before when there were no cars or anything else

a few years ago when the global warming theory was gaining speed the earth actually cooled off a bit. the greenies found somebody to say "oh yes, this is due to global warming" huh? it's been a few years since i took physics but i don't think so. i wonder what their theory is about the ice ages and the period between them. how about the dinosaur ages where the rain forest extended up to new york.

ok so the polar bears and the pandas go extinct. how about ocean life gaining more area? how about the new species that evolve? they may not be "cute" and pettable but they are stiil there. should we kill the new species?

omg those 2 days were it was like 65 degrees here in michigan was like so perfect i wish the whoel winter was like that

like i said tho regardless if u drive cars or use the good old horse and buggy the earths always goin through its changes and its never gonna stop goin though these changes till the sun explodes and just destroys it

yea but losing the ozone theres nothing to keep the heat in during the winter so ushally global warming would give us warmer summers and colder winters

technically the ozone and global warming are seperate issues. the ozone layer is like a filter. it blocks out high intensity UV radiation. it has no real effect on temps. carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses act like a one way mirror and let light/energy in but don't allow it back out. the nitrous oxides cause acid rain which everyone now ignores because the media forgot about it.
personally i feel that we do need to take better care of our planet. step one: make countries we trade with conform to some sort of standard. cough, china, cough air travels everywhere, whatever we do doesn't mean sh*t if other large countries cause twice the pollution we do. step two:every rich ******* who complains about the price of fuel or emission should have their SUV's and sports car/supercars shredded in front of them, and be forced to live on $20k for a year or live like ted kazinsky did--with zero modern technology. (i'm not counting his explosives) think al gore is living in a cave with no heat and only the food he scavenges from the wild? that's the only way to eliminate our impact on the planet.

What I really want is a pro-global warming bumper sticker for my car and truck. Something like " I love carbon emissions", or "Global Warming means milder winters", maybe "I heart Global Warming". "New Orleans got what was coming to it" would be another good one too. Or how about "This Musclecar is my carbon offset to your Prius"?
