I would try the JB weld putty to make that repair..you might want to pick up a case of the putty....🙂

Lmao that's pretty funny. I'll admit to JB welding my fair share of 2 stroke dirt bike engine blocks 😀
 
I used JB weld putty to install my EGR to my vortec intake to make the enforcement people happy. How long did your engines last?

I've used JB Weld on 3 dirt bike engine cases. The first one on a junk Honda 250cc lasted a few more months before it began having unrelated issues and failed, and as far as I know the other two, one a KTM and one a Yamaha, are still running, and I made those repairs around a year and half ago and they are still holding. Given they aren't my bikes and dirtbikes really aren't my thing, but JB weld seems to hold these aluminum cases together pretty well, and considering how often they seem to break its kind of nice to have a cheap fix that works. Also I've used JB on countless plastic and aluminum radiators. Works awesome for those.
