I wonder just how rare my car is?

OK maybe not "rare", but rather uncommon.
(Other than the buckets and the CB)
I noticed that almost EVERY photo I see of GPs doesn't have the little lights on the front fenders that light up when you turn the signal on, like the Grand Marquis etc have.

My car has 'em! I didn't know this was so uncommon until now. Here's the one picture I found that has 'em:

Anybody else have these? If you do, tell me if your's is an SJ or whatnot. Or if you have a "rare" option, post up :!:

My old 79 base model GP had them, as well as my current 85 GP LE though mounted differently. My recently sold 81 GP SJ didn't though. They are called cornering lamps and for the most part are "somewhat" scarce... from what i seen. The 85 had the trim around the lamps damaged and finding the trim wasn't EASY! PatMcKinney scored me a set last year thanks Pat!! 😀

That's the first thing that came to mind! I ran out to the garage to inspect them and all I found was a little MAACO overspray

Cornering lamps... aah yes
