Found this for sale while looking for a posi for a 7.5:
Zexel Torsen.jpg

Supposedly from a Camaro, trying to get more Id on it.
He "thinks" it's a 3 series..
Listed as a "True-Trac" style Torsen???
What would it have come in originally?
Any good?

if it is a Torson it will have TORSON stamped on it

Trying to get more pics or a part number from the seller.
It looks like the one it the link Ostrich posted above.
I asked him to measure deck height so I can find out what series it is.

4th gen Camaro had that carrier, it's a Zexel Torsen posi, check the spline cause I think they all used 28 spline axles

Seller states it's 28 spline so an axle upgrade would be needed.
Not a bad thing....

Any $$ wasted on a 7.5 is a bad thing!!!!!

the 7.5/7.625 Torsen is a T2 which is not really a posi. The T2R had disks to preload it but that edition were bigger carriers. With the 28 spline axles it will be a much stronger rear end than the stock 7.5.
