Hey everyone, i have a 87 MC SS, i believe it to be bone stock but would like to know how to indentifie the transmission, any one help me with this? The moter is a 305 HO, transmission has OD. Please help.

Should be a 200-4R. The pan is stepped and shaped like a boat or Texas, depending on how you squint. It's possible that someone put in a 700-R4 but unlikely since it's not really a direct bolt-in. The pan is pretty square.

to identify a transmission it can be hard but here's some clues..Adams Apple, body hair (facial, arms, hands, chest, legs), tone and depth of voice, lack of breasts or breasts that change size and orientation each day (stuffing a bra), penis buldge in pants...

Steve,
I think I recall you saying that "transmission" is one of your pet peeve words... You're a funny guy..

I told my kids one day I picked up a new transmission for the car and it was in the trunk. They told their friends I was a perv and should be locked up... 😳 .. Hence I do not use that word. 😀

Still less disturbing than a trunk full of transmission parts.
