So I did enough research to decide that my Holley Carb is a 4160. What I don't get is how in the h3ll people figure out what number their carb is. Everything I read told me to look on the front of the air horn for a number, which I did. There were two numbers, the first was 80457-2 and the second number (below the first) was 2360. I simply googled "80457-2 Holley" and figured out that way what carb I had.

So where does the "4160" number come from and why isn't that stamped into the carb?

4160 is vaccum secondary and 4150 is a mechanical secondary carb
