In both cases the headliners were removed and the body raised slightly to aid the welding and get the headliner back in.

Ah so they installed the cage to the frame, welded everything then raised the body up to install the headliner then dropped it back down to finish the floor around the cage. That makes sense

Expect squeaks and noises and working under the dash will never be the same.

The roll bar acts like a tuning fork and things rub, swingouts bounce around. Under the dash needs no explaination.
