I'm having a problem with my ignition staying off when I turn my car off, everything else sh*ts off accept the engine, that is until the carb is out of fuel, then it drains my battery, any thoughts?

Sounds like the ignition switch. It's not an expensive part and is easy to change. You find it about half way down your steering column on the right side
