Six_Legal,
Welcome to a great site. Thank you for your service! My son (Senior Chief Petty Officer of 28 years, Iraqi vet w/ Bronze Star, and my hero!) has just retired from the Navy (a retired son really makes me feel old!). I hope you enjoy it here as much as I have!

Thanks wonderboy24 . today i changed my transmission fluid and filter. I had trouble getting the right gasket for my filter pan , cause I think I have a 350 transmission on my car instead of the stock trans. for the v6 3.L

Welcome to the site! Does your pan say "metric" on it? if so, its not a 350. I bet its a 200...as most 3.8 v6's had them.
Welcome home too.....

Hmmmm thats a good question I should go and look and see whats on the pan . its nightime i cnt see it and the numbers r hard to read but i can say its a 13 bolt pattern plate cover

Welcome to the forum. I thank you for your service as well. Also, if you have a trans modulator with a vacuum line running to it, you don't have a 200 trans. A 350 trans will have a modulator on the passenger side. 200 was electronic controlled. I have a 350 trans in mine & I always ask for a trans filter & gasket for a '73 cutlass with a 350 trans, since a 350 trans wasn't offered for my '85 cutlass.
