I have a half of tank of gas left what if I put half the bottle in would that be ok

Do it with less gas, I wouldn't really want that stuff mixing with a 1/2 tank...

like 1/8 or less

Does it lol? I thought you run the stuff with little gas so the concentration is greater, you must have some new sh*t... Well in that case follow the directions on the can, they would not want to steer you wrong and get a lawsuit. I haven't used fuel cleaner in a couple years...

Along with checking the timing, make sure your PCV valve is good (excessive amounts of water coming out the exhaust pipe when the car is running is a sign of a bad PCV). The PCV valve pretty much makes sure your fuel is not too moist when it enters the combustion chamber from the crankcase, so your problem might be caused by a faulty PCV valve feeding fuel that is too moist into your motor.

anytime ive ever added anything like that to my tank i ALWAYS do it with a quarter tank or less and then almost run it empty, and if i figure its really dirty i do it again with 3/4 of a tank an run her close to dry again. ive also had some luck with using transmission fluid as it contains a few detergants that seem to clean up the carb. about a half liter to 3/4 of a tank type of thing. this will increase your compression while its being burnt tho so dont asusume its better until the oil has pretty much ran through the system. also Seafoam has worked wonders for older vehicles i own. good luck man!

sounds like more of a timing issue tho. make sure thats set up properly before continuing.
