yeah the whole vending machine myth is just that. Maybe theres one out there that does that but just no.
Here’s a few cars I shot while out in the rain and fog that the weather man said wouldn’t be there.
The last one is kinda cool. They were doing some excavation or something on that hillside and built that roller coaster looking track to get the equipment where it needs to be.

So, the weather people there can't predict for crap, either. Nice.
The Subie is a BRZ here, but probably(?) something different there.

Did I miss something? They had hot, canned drink, vending machines when I was there, albeit, that would've been 1993.
I’ve been there a few times for Toyota visits. Enjoy the food!!! I love quality Japanese food but skip the sea cucumber....
Well yeah drinks are everywhere but specifically the ones these pervs are talking about aren’t 🤣
a few random cars I shot today. Thought there was more but I guess not. went out to the Studio Ghibli museum bc the kiddo wanted to go (she's 19 btw 🤣) and it was actually better than I was expecting. Tons of original art, backgrounds, cels, character sketches, storyboards, etc. everywhere. Also TONS of people.
I actually kind of like those Suzukis. Wish they hadn't pulled out of the US market a few years ago. The van I tried to shoot had some Goodyear white letters on it (at least it looked that way) but the bike drove by right when I snapped.... Lots of those big box vans running about. I know I'm in the minority but the tiny kei cars/trucks/vans are kind of cool in a messed up sort of way. I think that guys food truck/van is a converted Subaru but not for sure.

I just got back from 3 weeks in Okinawa, loved it. Was stationed there for 4 years. Wouldn't mind taking a job in mainland Japan for a few years one bit.
