Hey guys were building a 82 regal and were putting a 5.3 with the carb conversion kit should we go with inline or internal fuel pump?

I went with an inline Holley Blue pump with return style regulator. No complaints here but if I could redo it I would get a GN tank and use an in tank pump for simplicity. Thats just me though.

I too plan to go with and would suggest the GN set up. My main reason is its set up for daily street use and second would be noise.

83MONTESS, is the Holley pump loud ? And do you (or anybody else) have an idea of life expectancy of a holley pump a daily driver? Ive read some last for years and years but havent found any real feedback about beig used on a DD.

The Holley Blue is loud as hell but with a big block and axle dump exhaust I don't care. The life expectancy is hard to determine. I have friends that have used the same one for years but I also have a buddy that has had to replace it twice in 2 years now. Running a return line definately helps them last. That's why I went with one on mine.

I'd go with the in-tanks setup. External / Inline pumps are loud and typically have less life. Also with an in-line / external they are usually gravity feed so must be mounted lower then the tank.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback.
