No doubt you have an awesome build there. To make a build thread keep all of your progress on that thread and that one alone so when people view you progress its easier to see all at once. I can agree a bit with you on a few comments but it is what it is. Many times I post and wont get any replies, but to my surprise many people have been watching and are motivated to do what I do. Maybe 1 out of 30 people actually tell me. But none the less I know keeping up on my build thread will help many others. I view build threads as a photo/story album. Most people who reply are ones who have questions related as to what your doing and advise. Keep the updates rolling!

Awesome build and would like to see more. It looks like you have skills and a passion for Oldsmobile. The F85 design is really cool.
How does it perform at the track? Any videos?
I do love my Oldsmobiles. Cut me I'd probably bleed rocket gold. Lol
I do have a couple of vids taken at my local track at the time (which they've since closed down) where I was racing my boss in his tubbed big block '70 Chev Truck. (I whipped him each time, btw!) I'll get them up on this post tonight if I can. One of the vids is funny, we both rolled into the water box and started our burnouts, which quickly became "who's gonna roll out first?" Needless to say, we both got sh*t from the tower on the way back cause they couldn't see the track thru all the tire smoke!

I read a lot of build threads but I don't post on many. Sometimes the person goes into enough detail that I don't have any questions for something that interests me. Other times I do post quite a bit just because a part of their build is something that relates to mine. With builds like yours I may not have much to add besides the occasional "Nice build", but I still would read it just for ideas, knowledge and to see the progress.

TobyP, Halfrod, OldsOne and others, thanks for the insight and input. Overall, it sounds like there's enough interest for me to continue with a build post in earnest. I will do just that starting tonight. I almost always put in a couple hours every night after dinner, so I'll just add updates at the end of the night on the progress. Where do you feel is the best place to post these updates? I'm a bit hesitant to put them under build threads again, they may just get lost unless you guys subscribe. Suggestions?

I see you brother! I've got an 88 Brougham with 200k miles but 0 rust and it looks a lot like your car sitting on Billet wheels & BFG don't give up just b/c thinking a lack of interest. This new format kind of requires you to visit your own old posts and bump them back up to the top in order to generate new feedback. Obviously, we're all guys so it might feel a little gay to slide back on your own thread and start talking a 2nd time but if you don't it can fade into obscurity

By all means continue with your build thread. Very nice build do far...you have a lot of great ideas. I would love to see how the work progresses. Keep up the good work!

Hell yes post your progress. Nice work and I love the exhaust out the side, I considered that style also. I'll be checking in on your progress. Keep up the awesome work.

Yeah, so now your out voted! Lol. If you have multiple threads, have an admin remove one and go off the other. Or just have him delete them all and start fresh. Would love to see some more of the fab work if you got pics.

Ok guys, I tried to embed two quick videos of the car at the track, but it would appear that I'm unsuccessful. My apologies. I'll have to try and figure out some other way to do it...
Thank you all for your input and answers to this post, it was very much appreciated. It would seem that there's definitely enough interest in the build that keeping up with and posting on a build thread is worthwhile. I'm going to let this particular post die a quiet graceful death, and move to my "already started" build post titled Juggernaut build thread from here on. Thanks all, I look forward to hearing from you there.
