looks good and it always feels better to do it yourself and ya save some money along the way.

Thanks dude, I will say this. Watching the install videos on PUI's site throws you off because they keep the frame in while they are installing on the Regal seats. It isnt the case for us. It made for much cussing  and swearing up and down to Brian at Gbody and Ron at PUI they did not fit, wasnt gonna fit, and I think I lost a really bad bet with him too . Something about lifetime beers when we are out....

Anyways, my endorsement for fit and quality definately. Gbody parts distribution of the PUI products on the new seat covers and seat buns. And I became an overnight Auto Upholesterer.

lol, no problem. sounds like after u found out how it was supposed to go, it was fairly simple. was 250-300 and educated geuss or an actual estimate? that seems kinda expensive IMO

200-350 was the going rate to install covers over the bucket seats in cincy, which now that I know how to do is rediculous money.

Ok I was just wondering. Yes, that is crazy money for most ppl. Looks we need to start installing covers for ppl for that kind of money.ESP when u already had the old ones off. Lol. They woulda probably charged me 150$ just to swap rear seat covers! 0nly cost me $23 shipped for a nice pair of hog ring pliers and I was ready to go.Are u recovering a rear seat as well ?

Yea, I am going to have a full write up and Gbodyparts is going to put it in his site for those that want to see a car go from bench to console, buckets before and after shots. I will also post it here. I have a full brushed alum dash and console kit that I am converting over from the wood grain. I plan on doing the rear seat tomorrow, but need to take a bunch of pictures of the current set up first. WHat is nice about my area is I have Auveco as a vendor in my back yard and I got a nice set of pliers and box of rings really cheap. I'd do it all over again.

Oh ok, neat. The gray inserts are nice. I did the same with my car, converted it over. It's time consuming but it's worth it. I didn't have the funds to get brand new covers, but I found some in a junkyard last week that were about as good as one could find for used, so I was thrilled. Are u gonna swap to a Calais/salon steering wheel also? I'm in the process of doing so right now. Also, you're just a couple hrs east on 50 from me.

yes definately looking for a blue steering wheel, my grandma wheel has to go! Yea, I saw that you were close. What town in Indiana?

I've been in th upholstery business since 1977, I charge about 150 to install 2 bucket seat covers. The people that do a rear seat and think bucket seats are easy, haven't done bucket seats. The G-body seats are among the easiest buckets to do, the older frame styles are much harder to do correctly. Yours look great!
