I bought a 83 Malibu wagon with a 350 in it and the gauge cluster has a speedo, clock, gas gauge, idiot lights for the oil, battery and temp. It looks like the factory clusters with the all the engine gauges and a tach will fit but I'm not sure about the wires. Does anyone know if the car equipped with the wires for the factory added gauges and I would just have to change out the senders or make minor changes to whats already there, or make major changes to make them work? I would rather install the factory cluster set up than an after market set of gauges. I guess in a pinch I could always install a set of little gauges in the factory instrument panel. Any info about the wires would be helpful. Thanks, Ed.

Ed,
I took this from Maliburacing. Hope this helps you.

It does require re-pinning or reconfiguring the wires in the plug. A small jewelers screwdriver works well. Chances are there's no white wire for the tach. You might have to add one.
Many guys have done this swap. I'm sure someone else will add to this thread.
