I am putting together a back halfed street strip 80 Malibu. Everything from the drivers seat back is now riveted sheet metal. Since I will be driving this on the street I would like to add some insulation to the floor board to deaden the vibration noise and the radiant heat. I prefer something that is light weight, but will also make sure the thing doesnt rattle like a tin can. I looked into dynamat, but I do not want to add that much weight. I have researched products from thermo tec, but there are a bunch to choose from and I dont know exactly what is what. Below are a couple links to some thermo tec products I was looking at.

I will be applying carpet over the insulation. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should use?
