Hey all, I have my Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold off for some service work ( 350 SBC )
I have a single hose barb fitting that screws in just behind the carb base gasket. The problem is that this
fitting only has one rather small port for a single hose. I need a larger tee or adapter but not completely sure
what to get. got any suggestions ?
It is a dual plane manifold (not the air gap) Edelbrock performer RPM The engine is a 79 Camaro.
Not that it matters. I do not see any part numbers on this item at all.

If I measure the opening with the fitting removed what should I read for a given size thread ?
Like whether it's 1/2NPT or 3/8NPT and so on ? I think it's 1/2 inch but not sure.

Most "decent" auto parts stores have a big selection of vacuum fittings.
It's probably a 1/8NPT thread, but the easiest thing to do is take the fitting to a local parts store and match up to what you need/want.
There are several styles and different threads, so you should be able to find one that fits your needs.

If you referring to the port on the runner behind the rear of the carb it is a 3/8" NPT and they make low profile 90* fittings for this with a 3/8" hose not sure exactly what you are looking for. The only 1/2" NPT fittings are for the heater hoses at the front of the intake.
