I was looking at Obamas tax relief inform. he wants to give us a benefit package again on our taxes. If its like last year youll have to make over $3000 or so to qualify and a bunch of other things. Well last years taxes I didnt get it becasue I was claimed by my parents on their taxes which I have no problems doing. This year though things are a bit different. One I have become a lot more independant , I feed myself, pay all my bills, and my dad retired as well so I no longer have dental insurance any longer as well. I have a few questions though guys so please help me out here. One is this, if I claim myself this year obviously ill lose whatever healthcare my dad claims that i still have eeven though I beleive he is bogus. 2ndly If i allow him to claim me he gets a tax break of 1500 dollars, I get nothing but still get all my tax money back regardless because of the low wages I make. 3rdly If I let him claim me again I will not recieve any eco. stimulus yet another year. I dont knwo what to do. Plus my dad who I dont get along with as it is says that if I claim independant then he claims me ill be the one who gets in trouble with IRS and get a large fine even if I do my taxes first?? I think this is BS correct hes just lying. So give me my best options.

Number one, whatever you do, stay on your parent's health insurance. Trust me, it's more valuable than any tax benefit you may get. You may not need it now, but when you do, you will see how valuable it really is. Second, get a better job. That's the only way you will get ahead. Do something for tips with a good base pay and you will improve your lot in life for the time being. Whatever you do, finish your education NOW, don't put it off. It is VERY hard to go back to school once you live on your own and life starts getting expensive. Believe me, it will get expensive, and in ways you can't even imagine right now. The car, etc. that you have now is not important. You will never make it what you want until you get a better job, and that won't happen without an education. Trust me on this, as I have been there. I regret most of what my life has been and would do little of it over again the same way if I could, but now it's too late and I am doomed.

X2!!! Either that or get out on your own now. (While you still know it all, at least that's what I tell my kids.)

Finish school before you leave home!!! Otherwise, you will end up delivering pizza and make nothing of your life like me.
