I have a question for anyone that has experience rebuilding 700r4's.
nks,
Darin
after trying my hand at rebuilding mine, I ended up still only having no 3rd/4th gears. after tearing it back down, I found that when I had re-assembled the roller clutch (in front of the low/reverse clutch pack at the rear of the case, the one that spins in one direction), I failed to notice that I assembled it backwards, and it rotated both ways. my question is: would this cause a loss of 3rd/4th gears, or do I need to keep looking for the main issue (and that this is just a coincedence)?
thanks,
Darin
