Hey everyone! I have an 86 Olds Salon with a 307 with T- Tops. I have never belonged to a car forum before so excuse my mistakes in advance I will make a lot of them! I have had my Olds since 05' and have done tons of work to her and now it seems that it's time to either redo all the work or give her up. That is why I am here. I refuse to throw in the towel on her. She and I have a special bond and it's not of the usual nature. She fell on me while getting her ready for a car show and yes it hurt like hell and she almost took my life but after my recovery i swore to her that it's Death til you die" (not me)with her.
I have tons of spare parts and tons of on going problems so maybe belonging to a GBody forum I can make new friends, get some needed advice and possibly help someone here with a rare part or 2 that I might have.
The picture is her in 06' but unfortunately she no longer is "as pretty" and that's one of my goals. If they made Botox for cars I would get it for her! But since they don't, I have to fix her from the inside first before i do any external work. I will post another picture of how she looks today. Which still isn't bad but you all know it doesn't take much for the salt and moisture to kill a car. I also can say I have proven that Macco paint jobs only last a full 5 years!
Please have patience with me while i learn how to navigate here. And thank you for having this forum 😀
