Is an el camino on a g body frame?

May be a stupid question but is a el camino on a normal g body frame? Looking a picking up a rock solid el camino to drop a sbc in I have but since I have no experience in el caminos I was wondering if they sit on the same frame?

Yes, they are technically a Gbody. The suspension parts are the same. However, they are longer so you can't swap one under a Cutlass, Malibu, etc.
