Is rocker molding trim side specific?

I have a friend here who has some Lower Rocker molding trim i need for my '79 LeMans car. Since i found Malibu was different. I was able to find an NOS driver's side... but then i needed a passenger's side. The parts book did NOT specify if they were special or not. Only the same Part Number. Can anyone verify f either side will work?

On my 87 Regal Limited it is side specific, not sure about LeMans.
