Is this a good donor for FI 350 swap?

I have a line on a 97 Chev Tahoe 4x4 with a 5.7L and 4 speed auto.

I'm pretty sure I can use the motor, but will I be able to use the transmission? Can I just lose the transfer case and make it work?

you would need a 4l60e 2wd tailshaft housing.

most go with a carb on the 96-98 vortec 350. not saying it can't be done......but you wouldn't find much support online if wanting to stay fuel injected
