Is this to big?

I am looking for rims and new tires. Is this tire size to big for a 86 bonneville http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/pts/1349687608.html

255/60-15 will fit fine on a 7 inch rim in the rear

I think 255's are too big for the front, but I have them on the back of my car on 8" wide rims.

255/60 is perfect for the rear.
235/60 is as wide as I'd go up front, and even then it might rub.
225/60 is the best choice I think. Just keep the extra 255's for spares for the rears.
