It wont start!!!!

Hello GBF fam, i have a real serious problem here,i just installed a new quadrajet carb & had my steering column
fixed (installed also) got everything wired up, turned da key nothing, no click, nada, but every thing else works
horn,locks, windows etc. could anybody tell me what da issues my be? Man i was lookin 2 startin it up Squinky33 :?

Go to your fuse boxe and look at all the fuses. Your starter is not getting power. Check the power wire from the battery to the starter as well and make sure it's wired up. Good luck bro.

make sure that both connectors are connected to the ignition switch on steering column

I turned da key it started makin a clickin noise but thats about it. What about a bad solenoid? or Replace da whole starter?

You got a dead battery. Boost it or try charging it up 😉

Brand new doesn't always make it good. Try to jump it or hook it up to a charger anyway. I'm also thinking a low charge.

Yea, probably low charge. Not a lot that can go wrong between the battery and starter. Sounds like you are getting power to the solenoid. The question is whether or not the main starter motor is getting juice.

I did that same result, Ok what about testing those fuseable links from da starter?

Have you actually had the battery tested? If it's clicking like that and it's supposed to be new, it could be bad... seen it happen before.
