I was here years ago, but my old log in wasn't recognized, maybe I got archived? Well I'm back again, and of course with some stupid questions google can't seem to answer haha

The old wagon is back up and running after sitting in the back yard for a year and a half, and the re build has begun. For now she's getting another T5 because they keep coming apart, and coilovers all around. Still looking for some bucket seats, and a decent set of wheels that actually fit

(Pic to large to upload 🙁 )

Welcome back.

Saturday was a busy day, unfortunately I got the wrong rear springs so I have to do the work twice.

Welcome back. What are your plans this time around? Looks like you could use a new set of hatch struts judging by the piece of lumber that's holding it up. Rock Auto is a good source for those.

Haha yea, definitely need need new struts. I'm working on an LS swap for reliably and efficiency, and I'm just gonna drive it for now. She needs some body work, new interior parts, and the camaro wheels have to go.

My biggest issue right now is figuring out the right spring rate for the rear, they sent 175lb springs and they are way to soft

It should be nice with an LS swap. LS' are the hot ticket these days. I had the same 15 x 7 Camaro wheels on my car. I've been using cargo coils in the rear for many years. I'm sure they have probably settled a bit, but they do not feel spongy at all. You might look into some A-body springs in the rear.

Check out the MOOG chart. It will list spring heights, etc. This chart has always been helpful .http://www.maliburacing.com/coilspring.htm
