^This project got me spoolin' up ideas about a twin turbo small block oldsmobile build.

My buddy is working on his cert. for stick welding and maybe mig (not sure on that) So he would be able to help me with all the piping and everything as far as exhaust and stuff. But what all needs to be done to make this work?

Obviously they would be smaller turbos because I'm sure high boost is not an option. What turbos would be good, would the ones used in the "chevy" build be suitable (Garrett T3's)? I could scavenge a set of intercoolers from the same car (T-bird)

What would I do as far as the carb? Can any carb be converted to blow-through?

How much would I have to beef up the olds internals?

I'm really just curious on what can be done to an olds. I think it would be friggin' awesome to have a TT SBO just because it's different.

Nobody!?

the way the manifolds are in the car will make this hard to do. =$$$. anything can me done. just how bad. do a paxton blower and its much easier to fab it up.

I've seen a couple turbo setups done with manifolds, so it can be done pretty easily. Just need some tighter bends on the exhaust outlet to go back up to the front of the pass. engine compartment.

It would be way cheaper to do 1 turbo because of the cost of custom headers, so If I end up doing this, I'll be doing 1 turbo. The question now is what is the best turbo for the money...
