Hi there, I'm just wondering, is Johnson's Paste Wax safe for use on a car's paint? I use it on bowling balls, and we used it on pinball machine playfields when I was a kid. Is it safe for exterior paint? Fiberglass? Plastic interior parts? Does it have any secondary uses or unusual qualities? Any info is great on this utterly random question
I listen to old time radio shows and Fibber McGee & Molly 's show's sponsor is Johnson's Paste Wax. According to the announcer on the show Johnson"s Paste Wax works on everything
I used to wax cars as a kid for beer money. Johnson's was as good as Simonize and a bit less expensive. In the Army I used to strip my floors, light a can of Johnson's Wax on fire, pour it on the floor, spread it with a buffer, then buff buff buff. Finally I would fold up a fresh clean towel, place it under the buffer pad, and polish those floors until it looked as deep as a swimming pool. That would get me a 3 day pass, and if you steppa ona my floor I breaka you legs.
