I don't think the car I got it off of had a heat shield but I'll have to look at the whole thing.

I did get both the defrost vents and the regular vents that come off of the manual operated vents.

I went and looked at My 1981 Wagon non-ac car and it had the heat shield is why I asked.

This is the only pics i have of this step. The main non ac box sticks in deeper than the ac box. This is why it need the different glove box. The vent doors are in different locations also that why you need to change the top vent/defroster ductwork along with the inner lower
