How do I change the filter?

yea just remove all the trans pan bolts, keep a drain pan handy cuz the fluid is going to start coming at you about half way through the bolts. after you get the pan off pull the filter out of the trans, theres a round rubber gasket that holds the filter in place, make sure you get the old one out or the new one wont seat rite. put the new gasket on the new filter and put it back in the way it came out. clean off the old gasket from the trans pan. i would put a couple small dabs of rtv to hold the new trans pan gasket in place while you start the bolts. start all the bolts then i normaly will tighten the bolts in a cross type pattern. make sure you dont over tighten them. fill the fluid, check for leaks, go for a drive, and top off the fluid if nessesary when you get back. the auto parts store will know how much fluid you need but keep in mind that not all the fluid comes out when you change the filter. some stays in the lines and converter. id put 2 or 3 quarts and then check it. hope this help more then (remove - install and fill_) lol

If you're running a CCC carb without the ECM hooked up, I'd forget about the trans and deal with the fact your engine is getting WAY too much fuel. If you're still running the stock CCC distributor too, you also have zero timing advance. Your car has to run like a gas guzzling turd.

Where are you planning on ordering an ECM harness from? The only place you're going to find one is a junkyard or in the parts wanted section here. You can't buy them new. You don't need an ECM setup to have working heat either.

P.S. A TH350 trans did not come stock in your car. Are you sure it's a 350 or is it a TH200?

lol, i know its eating too much fuel... and it is a gas guzzler. 5 bucks gets me to school and back every day, 3 miles there and 3 miles back. and o reilly has one from like pioneer or some sh*t, i didnt know how much it was tho... and what do i need to hook up the heater? thats what im really worried about.. but i can handle the gas mileage for now, i need to actually be able to drive it though...
and when i said ECM i meant the ENTIRE wiring harness for the motor that goes to the computer in the passengers kick panel.
