Hi Guys, My name is Lionel from Little rock Ar. i have an 83 olds cut with the 3.8 motor great car, got it back in jun.

am searching the forum for some lil mods i can do to the lil eng. nothing big just small things. does anyone know a place to find the chrome rocker panels or a cross match from any other olds?

Welcome. There are some here with that engine, so I am sure they can/will chime in. I have heard about putting headers, aluminum intake, and a little carb rebuild can give a little pep to it. Good luck!

Aluminum intake and 4bbl carb off a salvage yard 4.1. Headers might also be worth while depending on your goals. Not sure what gears you have but a rear end swap with better gears is usually also one of your best bang for the buck upgrades. To provide pep yet retain driveablility and mileage some 3.08 or 3.23s with a three speed trans or 3.42 or greater with an overdrive trans. There are some interesting & cool cars around here. Mostly just enjoy your ride.
